Where to Find Your API Key
Your Nimbica API key is shown on the Connect Website screen in your dashboard. After creating your account and adding a website, click "Connect Website" — Nimbica shows your unique site API key and a direct plugin download link on the same screen.
You Don't Need an API Key to Connect
The Nimbica WordPress plugin also supports direct email/password login. In the plugin's settings screen, click "Login with Email" and enter the same credentials you use at nimbica.com. No API key required.
API Key Security
- Site-Specific Keys: Each website gets its own unique key, separate from other sites in your account.
- Encrypted Storage: Keys are encrypted in your WordPress database options table when saved.
- Instant Revocation: If a key is accidentally exposed, regenerate it instantly from your Nimbica Dashboard.

Visit nimbica.com and sign in with your email and password.
From your dashboard, click the "Connect Website" button next to the site you want to manage.
On the Connect Website screen, your unique site API key is displayed. Click "Copy" to copy it to your clipboard.
In WP-Admin ➔ Nimbica ➔ Settings, paste the key into the API Key field and click "Save & Connect".
